Signature campaign against BJP “Vote Chor, Kursi Chhod” will be successfully completed in Himachal : Pratibha

State Congress President and former MP Pratibha Singh has stated that the signature campaign against the BJP, “Vote Chor, Kursi Chhod,” will be successfully completed in the state. She stated that it has been launched today with the signature of the Chief Minister. She added that, following the All India Congress Committee’s (AICC) directives, MP Rajni Patil, in-charge of state affairs, has assigned the important responsibility of convening this campaign to Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri and co-convening to AICC spokesperson Kuldeep Singh Rathore, MLA from Theog. MLAs in all districts have also been assigned the responsibility of completing the signature campaign in their respective districts. She stated that this nationwide campaign will prove to be an important step for the Congress party in aligning with Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s call to protect democracy and stop the BJP’s vote theft.
Addressing a press conference, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that today, to save the country’s democracy, everyone must come together to protect public opinion. He said that the BJP has gained power in Haryana, Maharashtra, and Karnataka by stealing votes. He said that the Congress’ signature campaign against the BJP will be transformed into a public awareness campaign. This campaign will be carried out at a rapid pace in the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said that a virtual meeting was held today to discuss the campaign’s modalities in detail. He stated that this signature campaign will reach districts, blocks, and villages, and everyone will be involved. He stated that Congress stands united to strengthen Rahul Gandhi’s voice and protect public opinion across the country.
All India Congress Committee spokesperson and co-ordinator of this campaign, Kuldeep Singh Rathore said that this campaign will be fully monitored and after collecting maximum number of signatures from the state, it will be sent to the high command.
All India Congress Committee Secretary and co-incharge of state affairs Chetan Chauhan and Vidit Chaudhary were also specially present in the press conference.
Meanwhile, a control room has been set up at the state Congress headquarters, Rajiv Bhawan, to oversee and guide this campaign. Housing Board Vice President Yashwant Chajta has been appointed in-charge, while Kangra Cooperative Bank Board member Harikrishna Himral has been appointed co-in-charge.
