Shirgul Janseva Samiti honored journalists for positive journalism

The Shirgul Jan Seva Samiti honored Rajgarh media personnel in a simple and attractive ceremony on Friday for their positive work in highlighting the issues of the Rajgarh subdivision, as well as the region’s historical, cultural, and social activities and events, in the correct perspective through various media outlets. Founder and Deva of the Shirgul Jan Seva Samiti, Ravindra Kanwar, stated that the committee is dedicated to serving and assisting the poor and needy in society, in addition to creating excellent facilities for devotees at the Shirgul Temple in Rajgarh. As a result, the committee has provided financial assistance to many in need, boosting their morale. He added that the press is considered the fourth pillar of democracy, acting as a bridge between the government and the public. He expressed his gratitude to all Rajgarh media personnel for their positive and factual journalism and urged them to continue this tradition in the future.
Ravindra Kanwar said that Shirgul Devta is not only the revered deity of the Rajgarh region but also of the entire Sirmaur, Shimla district and the Jaunsar Babar region of Uttarakhand bordering the state. His ancient temple is located in Rajgarh and in his name a three-day Shirgul fair is organised every year on Baisakh Sankranti. He urged people to join this committee and make their creative contribution in serving and helping the poor and helpless people so that this campaign started by the committee can get further strength.
On this occasion, committee members Rajendra Thakur, Dikshant, Rajendra Sood, Vijayendra, Rahul, Hardev and other officials were present.
