Shanta Kumar expressed displeasure with the way BJP comprising party principles

Giving red carpet welcome to six Congress disqualified MLAs, BJP stalwart Shanta Kumar expressed displeasure with the way BJP comprising with party principles politics he created ripples in the state politics today.

Senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party in Himachal Pradesh, Shanta Kumar made a statement today that whatever ever happening is a big thing amid the political situation in the country and the state. 

He said that today there is no politics of principles. Shanta said that nothing would happen by building the Ram temple. We have to follow the ideals of Ram. The politics of principle will have to be adopted. 

When BJP claims to make India a world leader under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 At such a time, Shanta Kumar said with tearful eyes that I would have been surprised that when the country was a slave, politics was for the country, but in the independent country, politics is only for the chair. 

He is saddened by the fact that his party has also started following this trend. My party should not have gone on.

Responding to a media query  Shanta Kumar stated regarding the current political situation, ” I will not say anything. If I say anything, tears will come out of my eyes. In this way, Shanta Kumar has said a lot through gestures even without saying anything.”

Shanta Kumar said that from 1951-52 we did politics of principle. Spent 70 years in Bharatiya Janata Party. Also went to jail. Today I am 90 years old and it hurts when I look back. Shanta said that when we worked there were three things.

Dedicated worker, patriotic ideas, and value-based politics. It is because of these three reasons that our small party has become the biggest party in the world today. Our party has reached here because of principles. We should not abandon these principles.
