He said that on March 29, all the well-wishers of Lord Junga would go to Satlai forest to prepare Kurud and on March 1, they would pick up the Kurud and bring it to Banog.
He said that for Kurud, the entire tree is cut at a special time and after preparation, people pick it up and place it on the top of the temple. Its special thing is that when the Kurud is picked up from the forest, it is not kept anywhere on the ground, but after reaching the temple, it is kept directly on the top of the temple along with a special auspicious time and traditional puja. There will be a Bhandara of the deity Junga on March 2. Thousands of people from the entire region will attend this Shanda Mahayagya.
