SFI is demanding that the result of revaluation should be declared soon, but till now the result has not been completely corrected, in which many shortcomings are still being seen. Due to this, students are facing problems because mid-terms have started inside some colleges, but students do not know in which year they should give those exams.
Addressing this dharna, Campus Vice President Happy said that for a long time, the state government is going to try to implement NEP, in which it is impossible to study in the mother tongue and get it done. Only 2.5% of India is being spent which is being estimated impossible under NEP. Today it is even behind Bhutan in spending GDP on education. Efforts are being made to centralize it by removing it from the concurrent list of education in NEP. Also there is no provision regarding ST SC JRF or other scholarship and if students want to fight the issue on these then there is no provision of SCA for them, in such case there is danger for campus democracy in coming time and BJP government unparliamentarily Have passed it under which the first step of NEP is CBCS which was brought in UG from 2013 and in Himachal Pradesh students got to see the brunt of it in 2015 when 98% students failed now it is a matter of misfortune to bring it in PG in Himachal Pradesh On the other hand, a poor system like ERP is not able to reach the results of the students. ERP system is not capable, when the student fills his form, it is seen many times that his data disappears, in this way, many other errors are being seen in the result. Today the students of UG PG are in trouble, even after spending 13 crores, there is no improvement in the system, in such a way, it will not be right to impose CBS on the students, its result will be seen in the coming time.
SFI warned that NEP should be abolished CBCS and ERP and some other system should be brought by the state for this, these demands should be fulfilled as soon as possible. If the student demands are not resolved positively soon, then within the coming time, an outline of agitation will be prepared inside the university and a fierce gherao of the authority will be done.
