Seven day NSS camp starts in Chiyog school

A seven-day special camp of the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit began on Wednesday at Government Utkrishta Senior Secondary School Chiyog. 43 volunteers are participating in it. Retired CISF officer Laxmi Singh Thakur attended the event as the chief guest and inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. On this occasion, the volunteers made the event interesting by presenting NSS song, Lakshya song and Saraswati Vandana. The chief guest shared his experiences with the NSS participants and told the volunteers the tricks of self-reliance and self-defense.
Principal Sandeep Kumar Sharma gave detailed information about the seven-day work plan and appealed to the volunteers to maintain discipline and work with full dedication. The Principal said that NSS is a platform where along with education, children are given practical knowledge about aspects related to social concerns, which ensures the all-round development of children.
NSS in-charge Vijayalakshmi and Rakesh Rawat said that 42 students are participating in this camp and they will be given information on various subjects in these seven days. On this occasion, all the students, SMC members and staff of the schools were present.
