Seven day NSS camp concluded at Chiyog School

The National Service Scheme (NSS) camp which was going on in Government Senior Secondary School Chiyog for the past one week concluded on Tuesday. 43 volunteers participated in it. Local Panchayat Pradhan Dinesh Jagta participated as the chief guest in the closing ceremony.
He said that NSS is a platform where along with education, children are given practical knowledge about aspects related to social concerns, which ensures the all-round development of children. He called upon the NSS volunteers to use the knowledge acquired in this camp for social service in their villages.
Principal Sandeep Kumar Sharma said that in this seven-day camp, the volunteers were given information about various subjects. In which retired soldiers Lakshmi Singh Thakur, Yogesh Chandel, Ramesh Khachi, Sanjeev Sood, Madan Kaushal provided important information as key speakers. During this, the volunteers were taken on a tour of Jakhu temple and nearby places.
Programme officers Vijay Lakshmi and Rakesh Rawat expressed their gratitude to the local people, school management committee and all the staff and volunteers.
On this occasion all members of school management committee and social worker Hira Singh Jagta, Rajeev Sharma along with other teachers and non-teachers were present.
