Settle the pending cases of mutation attestation on priority : Sukhu

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu while presiding over the ‘Monday Meeting’ of administrative secretaries here today directed to accelerate the mutation process and settle the pending cases of mutation attestation besides reporting the same to the government.  There are more than 22 thousand such cases lying pending. The Mutation Adalat will be organized throughout the state on 30th October, 2023 in all the Tehsils, Sub-tehsils and Bandobast (settlement) circles to settle down the pending attestation of mutation cases, which will provide much needed relief to the people.  Delay in the mutation process causes many problems to the people and affects the progress of development works as well, said the Chief Minister.

Working with the motto of Vyavshtha Parivarta, the state government is committed to provide transparent and sensitive administration, he said and directed the officials for successfully organizing the Mutation Adalat.

The Chief Minister said that new courses would be started in Industrial Training Institutes from the next academic session based on new technology such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other job oriented fields. The state government is keen to make educational courses more qualitative and viable so as to increase the ability of the youth to compete at the global level, as well as creating employment and self-employment opportunities, he added.

He instructed the officials to complete the entire process of application related to Section 118 of Himachal Tenancy and Land Reforms Act, 1972 through online medium only. This would make the work time bound and also ensure efficiency, said Sh. Sukhu.

While speaking on the ‘Green and Clean’ energy initiatives, the Chief Minister said that a fleet of 1500 buses of Himachal Road Transport Corporation will be replaced with electric vehicles in a phased manner and instructed the officials to take necessary steps in this regard.

Instructions were also given to select the site for setting up the U.V. filtration unit. He said that the use of bleaching powder for water treatment in the state would be stopped in a phased manner.

Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, Principal Secretary Revenue Omkar Chand Sharma, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Bharat Khera, Principal Secretary Finance Manish Garg, Secretaries of various departments and OSD to the Chief Minister Gopal Sharma were also present in the meeting.
