Seize Your Sporting Dream: Himachal Announces State Team Trials

The Youth Services and Sports Department of Himachal Pradesh is excited to announce the selection trials for the state’s tribal athletes who aspire to compete at the Khelo India Tribal Games 2028. This is your chance to represent Himachal Pradesh on a national stage in Chhattisgarh.

We’re looking for talented men and women in a variety of sports to form our state contingent. This is more than a trial; it’s the first step towards national glory.

First Set of Trials – Bilaspur
Date: January 19, 2026
Venue: District Sports Office, Luhnu Ground, Bilaspur
Sports: Athletics, Archery (Recurve & Compound), and Football (for both Men & Women)
Registration: Begins at 10:00 AM on-site.
What to Bring: Your Himachal domicile certificate, mandatory tribal community certificate, and two passport-sized photographs.

Second Set of Trials – Una
Venue: Indira Stadium, Una (Pre-determined venue)
Sports: Swimming, Weightlifting, Wrestling, and Hockey
Please note, specific dates for Una trials will be confirmed. Stay tuned for updates!

Important Information for All Participants:

· Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses (T.A./D.A. will not be provided by the department).
· This is a unique opportunity. We encourage a maximum number of eligible athletes to participate.
