SEC declares PRI poll two tribal district subdivision

State Election Commission of Himachal Pradesh today notified the election schedule of two left out tribal districts in the three subdivision comprising of Udaipur, Keylong and Kaza in Lahaul Spiti and Pangi of chamba in a notification issued here today .
Former Chief Secretary and State Election Commissioner Mr Anil Kumar Kachhi said that polling for the Parnchayat Raj office bearer comprising of three tier PRIs , Zila Praishad Members and all Gram Panchayatand Panchayat Samiti of Keylong , Udaipur , Kaza and Pangi subdivisions would be  held on two phases onSep 29 and Oct one from 0700 to 1500 hrs .
The counting of votes and results would be out for ward members, Up-pardhan and Pardhan would be held after the closing of polling immediately after the close of the oll in gram panchayat in four subdivision However the counting of votes for Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad would be held on Oct 4 from 0830 hrs onward. at respective district headquarters.
He said that after last elector in queue at the hour fixed for close of cast his vote thereafter quarantined electors and Covid-19 postive electors shall cast their votes however the polling would be closed immediately after the quarantined and Covid positive electors would complete their polling and not normal electors would allowed to participate in the poll 
The candidates could present their nomination onf 13, 14 AND 15 Sep.from 1100 hrs to 1500 hrs at the designated placesbefore the officers and district election officers appointed for the poll. The Nomination paper would be scrutinisedand withdrawal on Sep 16 ( 1000 hrs onward ) and withdrawal on Sep 18(1000 hrs to 1500 hrs) the list of candidates would be displayed soon after the last date of withdrawal.
Election for the Panchayat Raj Institutions could ont be completed in the tribal years in Dec 2020 and Jun-Jul 2021 due to winter and covid panedimic forcing the state election commission to postpone the polls till August this year, he added.
