“Save Youth – Save Future” Campaign: A Comprehensive Movement Against Drugs in Himachal

The “International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking” is being observed across the state on June 26 by the Himachal Gyan Vigyan Samiti under the broad slogan “Save Youth – Save Future.”

Implementing the predetermined action plan, the state committee of the Samiti, during its extended online meeting, decided to organize conventions at the block level on this day in collaboration with various institutions working against drug abuse.

These conventions will be mainly held in the districts of Mandi, Kullu, Hamirpur, Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Bilaspur, Chamba, and Una. A comprehensive platform will be created to prepare a strategy for joint efforts in the future, involving social workers, public representatives, women’s groups, youth groups, and other institutions.

The Samiti emphasizes the need for society to unite against the severe evil of drug abuse and to make efforts to save our younger generation from it.
