Education Minister Rohit Thakur, election in-charge of Shimla Parliamentary constituency, has called upon the party district heads and leading organizations to gear up for the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections to be held in the state, saying that this time there will be a win on the Shimla Parliamentary seat. I have to win. He said that Shimla parliamentary constituency has been the main stronghold of Congress.
While presiding over a meeting of district presidents and heads of leading organizations of Shimla parliamentary constituency at the state Congress office Rajiv Bhawan today, Rohit Thakur said that the BJP MPs of this region should remain far away from the people of their region during their tenure. People have even forgotten his appearance. He said that now at the time of elections, he is going among the public and appealing to the people to vote for him. He said that during his tenure of five years, he did not make any contribution in the name of development in this area.
Rohit Thakur said that the district president and leading organizations are very important parts of the party. He said that the district presidents will have to work in full coordination with all their block presidents. He said that he would have to visit all the blocks and maintain direct contact with the booths and BLOs. He said that similarly, all the heads and officials of leading organizations will also have to work in full coordination. He said that a strong Congress government has been formed in the state under the leadership of Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. He said that the government has fulfilled the achievements of one year and the guarantee of giving Rs 1500 to women along with OPS to the employees and the party will have to go among the public regarding these things.
Rohit Thakur said that the Lok Sabha and Assembly by-elections to be held in the state are a test for all of us in which we have to succeed at any cost. He said that the assembly by-elections in the state are the contribution of the BJP. Due to its lust for power, the BJP has tried to destabilize the Congress government of the state, BJP will have to bear the brunt of these elections. He said that Congress will hoist the flag of victory on all four Lok Sabha and Assembly seats. People have known and seen the real face of BJP and they will have to face a crushing defeat in these elections.
Rohit Thakur said that the BJP has created a situation like an undeclared emergency in the country today and can put anyone in jail as per their wish. Investigative agencies are being misused openly. He said that election bonds would prove to be the biggest scam of BJP in the country.
