Road leading to Solanganala becomes slippery : Kullu Admin advisory

Lakhs of tourist who are making beeline for new year celebration at Manali are advised by the district administration Kullu to avoid slippery roads. An advisory issued by the Superintendent of Police Kullu said that the road leading to Solanganala becomes slippery in the evening due to snow accumulation.  Due to which the risk of skidding of vehicles becomes more.  Therefore, considering the safety of tourists and their vehicles, all the tourists are instructed not to go towards Solanganala after 3 pm today.  All the drivers and tourists are requested to celebrate the New Year by following the traffic rules and laws.  Two people have died in a road accident in Manali.  DSP Manali Hem Chand Verma confirmed the accident .  The crashed car was found on the banks of the Beas river

The deceased are identified  resident of Baweli in Kullu. The accident occurred due to car skidding DSP Manali told that the car skidded due to black ice frozen on the road, due to which it got off the road and fell on the banks of Beas river.
