RFSL official pardon for using mobile phone in Official gallery
A regional Forensic Science Lab official was pardoned after he sought an apology for his action of using a mobile phone in the official gallery on Thursday evening.
According to a Vidhan Sabha official, the official said that he was not aware of the use of the phone in the official gallery. RFSL official was deputed here from Mandi on the duty of the election and he informed that he didn’t record the proceedings of the house but saw social media posts of his daughter.
The official checked the mobile phone of the officers and did not find it in violation of assembly rule and speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania instructed the security officials to discharge the official after his entry pass was withdrawn yesterday.
It was reported yesterday that the Speaker instructed the Vidhan Sabha security staff that the mobile should be confiscated and the official should be arrested immediately yesterday after Congress member Sanjay Rattan pointed out that an official shooting Video in the official gallery.
