Restore the foundation stone of Sonia Gandhi at the Rohtang tunnel: Pratibha

Member of Parliament Pratibha Singh has asked the district administration to restore the foundation stone of Sonia Gandhi at the Rohtang tunnel at the same place from where it was removed. She has asked to explore the possibility of constructing a tribal building near AIIMS in Bilaspur. She said that people’s land is being acquired for road construction here by BRO and it should be fully ensured that they get the right compensation for their land.

Today, while reviewing the central development schemes at Keylong, the district headquarters of Lahaul-Spiti, Pratibha Singh instructed the District Magistrates that the targets of all the schemes should be completed within the stipulated time. She said that along with the maintenance of roads in this area, people Special attention should be paid to irrigation facilities.

Pratibha Singh expressed satisfaction with the progress of the projects.

Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar told in the meeting that Member of Parliament Pratibha Singh has sanctioned Rs 43 lakh 40 thousand for various schemes for Lahaul Spiti district, out of which Rs 40 lakh 20 thousand has been spent so far. Presently, out of 33 schemes from the MP fund, 30 schemes have been completed, the work of the remaining 3 schemes is in progress, which will be completed soon.

Apart from MLA Ravi Thakur, Zilla Parishad President Anuradha Rana and heads of all departments of the district were present in the meeting.
