Reservation should continue to overcome soicio-economic inequality :BJP

National President BJP SC morcha Lal Singh Arya said today that affirmative action and reservation should be continue in the country to overcome  soicio-economic inequality exist among people however he praised the BJP government for providing ten percent reservation to People belonged to Samanyavarag and providing constitutional validity to reservation for other backward classes. On the sidelines of BJP SC Morcha meeting in Shimla Arya was addressing a press conference at Hotel Holiday Home here today. He said that party think that reservation policy is relevant untill Soical inequality exist in the society.He said that to constitute Samanya varag Ayog was in the domain of Chief Minister and he would deal with the issue but SC Morcha of party think that reservation policy or affirmative action should last till existence of disparities in the society against people of Schedule Caste Community. Rejecting demand of Sawarn Samaj in the state to provide reservation on Economic weaker sections of every section of society he said that Indian Constitution provide the reservation to people belonging to SC category on the basis of untouchability with them in the society not on the basis of poverty.  Replying to another query about SC/ST scholarship scams last from 2015 to 2019 in the state BJP morcha Chairperson show ignorance on the issue. He said that such scams have no place for corruption under BJP rule as provision of post matric scholarship was made to the students in Indian Constitution since 1947-48 and scope of any such scam did further reduce as Rs 12000 Cr being provided as cash scholarship since last sixty years was increased by 59000 Cr and provide as direct transfer to the bank account of students.He said that benifit of reservation being taken by creamy layer should not be withdrawn however every such person who enjoys the status of creamy layer should withdraw themselves.  Replying to a query on the issue of Showing black flags to BJP state President Suresh Kashyap and Health Minister Dr Rajiv Sehjal in a function in Sirmour district by the activists of Devbhoomi Kshatriya Sangathan & Devbhoomi Swarna Morcha and Not allowing Minister Sehjal in a temple in Kullu recently Mt Ayra said that untouchability could not be erredicated for past 60 yrs uner the rule of Congress however after becoming Prime Minister Modi visited birth place of Babashab Bhimrao Ambedkar and party celebrate his birthday. He said that BJP did not believe in untouchability and it was reason that People of SC category give huge support to BJP in Uttarpradesh as they feel secure and given representation in the government. He said that BJP is the only political party which talks about social harmony and we are walking on the path of social harmony, Swami Vivekananda said that Narayan is the service, Deendayal ji said that the person standing at the last end should be uplifted.  Arya said that after India’s independence, the Congress did not do any work for the poor, only Prime Minister Narendra Modi has really made plans for the poor, after which the poor got accounts, houses and toilets. Arya said that Congress always insulted Babasaheb Ambedkar, it is only BJP which gave true respect to Ambedkar ji.BJP gave Bharat Ratna to Ambedkar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi built 5 national memorials for him and in the coming times a university will be built in his name in Madhya Pradesh too.He said that people of majority even among the schedule castes are getting equal opportunity and treatment under BJP rule vis-a-vis to minority classes among Dalit. Rejecting the query about having Dalit face of CM in Himachal in the party Arya said  BJP didn’t project faces of CM and other constitutional post on the caste line however it appoint People on their capabilities who could give leadership irrespective of affiliation of their caste. There is 29 percent population of Scheduled Castes in Himachal and our Morcha is working for the respect and empowerment of this class. Programs for the next six months of the front decided in the SC Morcha meeting in which training camps, conferences and public relations campaign would be the main campaigns,he added.
