Republic Day celebrated with great enthusiasm in Junga

Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the tehsil headquarters in Junga. Tehsildar Junga, Kartikeya Sharma, hoisted the national flag and took the salute at an impressive march past presented by the police.
On this occasion, Kartikeya Sharma, in his address, stated that Republic Day is a major national festival of India. The Constitution of India came into effect on January 26, 1950, and India became a sovereign democratic republic. Paying tribute to the leaders and freedom fighters who played a key role in the freedom struggle, he appealed for maintaining the unity and integrity of the nation. He urged the people to play a constructive role in making Himachal Pradesh drug and alcohol-free.
Pradhan Bansi Lal Kashyap hoisted the flag at Junga Panchayat headquarters and Pradhan Madan Mohan Thakur hoisted the flag at Bhadech Panchayat.
