Govind Thakur & Rakesh Pathania accuses Sukhu spreading canard by issuing false and misleading statements
Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur and Forest, Youth Services and Sports Minister Rakesh Pathania has accused the Congress leader Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu spreading canard by issuing false, misleading and nefarious statement in a desperate attempt to remain in news.
In a statement issued here today, the Ministers said that the Congress party has lost its credibility and faith of the people throughout the country. They said that people has completely rejected the Congress in the State as well in the country. They said that in Himachal Pradesh, after the demise of the senior Congress leader Shri Virbhadra Singh, all the Congress leaders were desperately trying to fit into his shoes.
Shri Govind Thakur and Rakesh Pathania said that the Congress in the State was a leaderless, issueless and directionless party and people of the State would give them befitting reply in the general elections slated for November this year. They reminded the Congress leaders that the BJP was the biggest political party of the world and unlike the Congress was not a party of a single family. They said that the Congress leader should set his own house in order instead of indulging in mudslinging.
The Ministers said that the allegation of Sukhvinder Sukhu that Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur was a remote-controlled Chief Minister, was also baseless and uncalled for. He said that statement does not have even an iota of truth. They said that Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur was senior leader of the Party enjoying full faith and benevolence of the Central leadership. They said that Party has reposed full faith in him and the State under his leadership was forging ahead on the path of progress and prosperity.
They said that the allegations regarding corruption leveled by the Congress leader were also baseless and politically motivated as the present State Government during the last about four years and four months has ensured equitable and alround development of the State and not even a single case of corruption has been reported in the State. On the other hand, during the tenure of the Congress party, corruption was at its peak and not even a single day passed when an incidence of corruption was note reported, they added.
Govind Singh Thakur and Rakesh Pathania said that the Congress leaders in the State were busy scoring a point over one another to prove their supremacy before their high command. They said that the Congress
does not have policy, character and even face for the coming vidhan sabha elections, whereas the BJP on the other hand was a party with able and strong leadership at the Centre and the State. They dared the Congress leader to name the leader under whose leadership they party was going the contest the coming elections. They said that the Congress was a ‘Baraat’ without a bridegroom, as in Congress party almost every district of the State has its own Chief Minister candidate. They said that people of the State were well aware of the nefarious designs of the Congress leaders and would not get carried away by their false propaganda.
The Minister advised Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to focus of his own party and need not worry about the BJP as the Party and its leadership were capable enough to manage the things at their own. They said that the people of the State would show the mirror to the Congress leaders in the coming Vidhan Sabha elections as they have been witness to the benefits of double engine government in the Centre and the State and want that the pace of development goes uninterrupted in the State.
