Rajneesh Kimta has said that after selecting the party candidates for the Lok Sabha elections

State Congress Organization General Secretary Rajneesh Kimta has said that after selecting the party candidates for the Lok Sabha elections, their names will be announced soon. He said that the names will be finalized in the Central Election Committee meeting. He has said that the party will field its strong candidates on all four Lok Sabha seats of the state. He has said that the first round of brainstorming in this regard has been completed at the AICC meeting in Delhi.

Today, while talking to the media at Rajiv Bhawan, the state Congress headquarters, Rajneesh Kimta said that the Congress is completely united in the state, and like before, the Congress will hoist the flag of victory in the four Lok Sabha seats of the state as well as in the possible six assembly by-elections. He said that the Congress government in the state is completely stable and will complete its tenure under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu.

Rajneesh Kimta said that a meeting of the coordination committee formed recently between the government and the organization will be held soon in which all the minor issues will be rectified. He said that due to the morale of the party workers, Congress achieved a spectacular victory in the assembly elections in the state and now it will hoist the flag of victory in the Lok Sabha elections also. Criticizing BJP’s vulgar statements towards Congress on social media, he said that people will give a befitting reply to BJP’s propaganda in these elections. When asked whether BJP has declared its two candidates and started campaigning, Kimta replied that Congress will declare its candidates at the right time. He said that there is enthusiasm among the people towards Congress and Congress will hoist its flag of victory in these elections also.

Kimta said that the Congress government in the state has fulfilled its main election guarantees within its short tenure of 15 months. He said that after implementing the first OPS to the employees, the guarantee of Rs 1500 to the women has also been completed. He said that this is a record in itself that despite the poor economic condition of the state, the government provided full help to the people affected by the massive disaster last year by issuing a relief package of Rs 4500 crore. He said that BJP did not help anyone during this period and for this they should apologize to the people of the state.
