Rajgarh area has remained untouched in terms of development
In the last two and a half years, Rajgarh region has remained untouched during the tenure of Sukhu government of Congress. At the same time, many announcements of the previous BJP government have also proved to be empty. Nearly two and a half years of the present government are about to complete but in this period, the CM has not visited Rajgarh region even once.
Many intellectuals of Rajgarh region say that in the name of development, the Congress and BJP governments have always played politics with the people of Rajgarh region. During the tenure of the previous BJP government, many announcements like building an artificial lake for tourists in Karganu, installing anti-hail guns in Habban, HRTC sub-depot in Rajgarh, parking, mini secretariat, two crores for the new office of the block development officer, mini secretariat, converting Nehru Ground into a stadium etc. have proved to be empty. Even after seven years of the announcement, not even a single brick has been laid in the name of mini secretariat in Rajgarh.
The former BJP government did its duty by hanging a board in the name of HRTC sub depot. After the sub depot was built, the bus routes decreased instead of increasing and the number of buses decreased from 13 to 9. Similarly, the people of Rajgarh have been cheated by laying the foundation stone outside the Nagar Panchayat office in the name of parking. Let us tell you that on 27 February 2019, MP Suresh Kashyap laid the foundation stone of HRTC sub depot and parking and despite 6 years having passed, neither the parking could be prepared nor the sub depot has been opened. Similarly, during his Chandol visit, former Horticulture Minister Mahendra Singh Thakur announced installing anti-hail gun in Habban, which remained confined to files. Similarly, the former Rural Development Minister had announced two crores for the construction of the Block Development Office, but not a single penny came. The announcement by the previous government’s cabinet minister to convert the Nehru ground of Rajgarh into a stadium had also proved to be empty.
