Rajendra Rana and Sudhir Sharma are doing drama: Sundar Thakur
Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sunder Thakur has termed the receipt of threat letters to rebels Rajendra Rana and Sudhir Sharma as a gimmick. Aiming at the rebels, he said that the real face of both of them has been revealed to the people of the state, hence the drama of receiving threats is being created to divert attention. The one who makes threats sometimes writes dear in the beginning.
He said that all the rebel six MLAs, including Rajendra Rana and Sudhir Sharma, contested the assembly elections on the Congress party’s election symbol and now they have become puppets of the BJP. The rebels conspired with the BJP to topple the democratically elected government. He backstabbed the Congress party and voted against the party’s Rajya Sabha candidate and now is afraid of even showing his face in front of the people of the state. Therefore today the rebels are forced to flee from one state to another.
He said that the rebels also know very well that the people of Himachal Pradesh are not going to forgive opportunistic politics because it is not the culture of Himachal Pradesh. The Congress party honored him by making him an MLA, and allowed him to serve the people of the state by holding various posts in the party, but the rebels betrayed the Congress party. Therefore, he is talking falsely about receiving threats to divert the attention of the people of the state from the real issues. The truth is that the rebels have mortgaged their trust to the BJP and are now unable to answer the questions of the people of the state.
Sunder Thakur said that after the formation of the Congress government in the state, a new chapter of public service is being written under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. Plans are being made for every section of society including the poor, farmers, women, and employees and they are being implemented on the ground. In a short tenure of just one and a quarter years, the present state government has fulfilled five out of its ten election guarantees, while the other guarantees are being fulfilled in a phased manner. He said that the people of the state will teach the conspirators a lesson about the conspiracies to destabilize the Congress government, which is dedicated to public service. He said that Congress is ready to counter every conspiracy and the state government will also complete its five-year term.
