Rajat Verma of Peeran village will take part in the Delhi Republic Day parade
Rajat Verma, a promising youth from Peeran Panchayat, the last end of Mashobra block, will participate in the Republic Parade in Delhi on 26 January this year. Rajat has been selected based on hard work and excellent performance in the senior-level camps of NCC. Let us tell you that Rajat Verma is a third-year BA student at Government Post Graduate College, Solan, and is posted as an Under Officer in NCC. Dr. Ishwar Dutt Sharma, in charge of the NCC unit of PG College, said that Under Officer Rajat Sharma has been selected for the national level Republic Day Parade Ceremony-2024 to be held in New Delhi. He said that Rajat Verma will participate in the Master of Ceremony in the National Integration Awareness Programme, cultural program, and drill. Apart from this, Rajat Sharma has been selected as a reserve cadet for the VVI flag area. Rajat Verma has always been excelling in NCC camps since college level. These days Rajat has joined the camp in Delhi to prepare for the Republic Parade.
Rajat Verma is originally a resident of Peeran village. He has completed his education till 12th from St. Edward’s School, Shimla. These days Rajat is studying BA in PG College, Solan. His father Khajan Singh Verma is a teacher while his mother Shakuntala Verma is a successful housewife. There is a wave of happiness in the entire Peeran area after Rajat’s selection in the Republic Day Parade and his parents are receiving congratulations over the phone. Father Khajan Singh Verma said that Rajat has been a sharp-witted and very hard-working child since childhood. Rajat said in an interview that he wants to serve the country by becoming an army officer for which he will work hard day and night. Retired bank manager Mohan Verma and retired section officer Shiksha Verma from the Honorable High Court have congratulated Rajat on this achievement.
