Rain or snow likely in next 48 hrs in HP

Indian Meteorological Department forecast more rain or snowfall in next 48 hrs in the state owing to  western disturbance in western Himalayan Region with effect from today night to early morning in the state.
Spokespersons of IMD said here today that light to moderate rainfall is very likely in lower and mid hills and snowfall in high hills in the state during  next 48 hrs . 
Light rain or snowfall likely to commence from this night to early Saturday in district Chamba Lauhal Spiti, Kangra Kullu and adjoining area.
The intensity and distribution of rain  or snowfall likely to further increase on  Oct 23 &  24  in many parts and waring of Isolated heavy rain or snowfall also likely district Chamba, Lahual Spiti, Kullu and Kangra on Oct 23 and 24. however rainfall activities likely to decrease around late Oct 24 and 25 for subsequent 3-4 days. 
The coldwave likely to be increased  with falling down of mercury  by 3-4 degree C from Oct 25 onward in the state.
Recent heavy rainfall disrupted the normal lives in the state as many tourists are still stranded in the state in Kaza subdivision in the heavy snowfall .
On Friday with snowy weather mercury increased by a couple of degrees however the cold wave increased during the night and wee hours.
Minimum temperature at Keylong in Lahaul Spiti  was 1.3 degrees. Kalpa in Kinnuar five degrees, tourist resort Manali 7.2 degrees, Bhuntar in Kulu 10.3 degrees, Kufri in Shimla 12.2 degrees Dalhousie 13.4 degree and Sundernagar in Mandi 12 degrees.
Shimla 12.8 degrees, Solan 10.3 degrees, Mandi 14.4 degrees, Chamba 11 degrees Hamipur 13.2 degreesBilaspur 16 degrees, Kangra 15.2 degrees, Dharmshala 14.4 degrees, Una 15.5 degrees and Nahan in Sirmaur 17.6 degrees.
