Radhika of Junga school will play in national hockey

Radhika Sharma, a student of class 10th of Government Model Senior Secondary School Junga, will show her prowess in the national level hockey competition. Principal Suman Chandel, while congratulating Radhika, said that in the state level under 19 major hockey competition held recently in Rait of Kangra district, Radhika has been selected for the national level competition which is going to be held from 29 January to 02 February in Mega Sports Complex Ranchi, Jharkhand, in which 18 students from Himachal Pradesh have been selected, in which Radhika’s name is also included. Earlier, Radhika was selected for the state level in the district level sports competition held in Sunni.
The principal said that Radhika Sharma is a promising daughter of Junga School. She has brought laurels to the school and the entire Junga region in hockey. Radhika belongs to a simple family. Her father Jagat Ram is a farmer who lives in Purana Junga. Jagat Ram said that he is proud of his daughter’s achievement. The principal said that all the girl players including Radhika will participate in the coaching camp at Government Senior Secondary School Majra Sirmaur from 23 to 25 January.
