Pulses out of reach of poor during festival season: BJP

The Congress-ruled government, which is looking for opportunities in disaster, is taking decisions that hit the public’s pockets every day. BJP media co-in-charge Pyaarsingh Kanwar and Sudeep Mahajan said in a statement issued from Shimla that despite it being the festival season, increasing the price of pulses in fair-price shops shows the insensitivity of the government.

He said that it has been more than 10 months since the Congress government was formed in the state and ever since the Congress government came to power in Himachal Pradesh, only anti-people decisions have been taken. The Congress government has closed more than 1000 government institutions, for which they have not been able to respond to date.

Bharatiya Janata Party had cut diesel by Rs 7, but as soon as this Congress government came to power, it increased it.

By increasing the cost of electricity, ration, and oil, the people of Himachal Pradesh broke their back due to inflation.

This government has proved to be a complete failure from the point of view of disaster management; the people of Himachal Pradesh have been affected due to mutual contradictions.

He said that if the state government continues to increase the prices of everyday items like this day by day, then soon the public will answer it in the Lok Sabha elections. BJP strongly opposes such a crude joke with the public to fulfill its guarantees.
