Protest against the Waqf Board by performing Kulluvi Nati in Kullu

Devbhoomi Jagran Manch and other Hindu organizations organized a protest at the District Kullu headquarters in Ramshila against the Waqf Board and illegally constructed mosques. In response, the police set up strict blockades in Kullu city to prevent any unrest. The protest featured Kulvi dances and a large rally with drum performances, drawing thousands of participants. Kullu city remained closed until noon as protesters marched from Ramshila Arena market to Dhalpur, where they demonstrated outside the DC office.

Previously, Hindu organizations had deemed a mosque in the arena market illegal and demanded action. However, the district administration recently declared the mosque legal, stating that only a part of it was under review by the Urban Development Department. Despite Section 163 being imposed and barricades set up, a large crowd gathered in Ramshila to protest against the Waqf Board and anti-Hindu activities. Protesters declared that anti-Hindu activities and amendments to the Waqf Board would not be tolerated and called for its dissolution. Clashes occurred between protesters and police in the Arena market, but the situation was eventually brought under control. Thousands of people, including women, reached Dhalpur, chanting “Jai Shri Ram” and “Hanuman Chalisa,” and continued their protest outside the DC office.
