Prominent Marxist thinker & former president of Himachal Gyan Vigyan Samiti, Prof. M K Sharma is no more

Head of Department of MBA Department of Himachal Pradesh University,  Former State President of Himachal Gyan Vigyan Samiti, State Resource Center, Shimla’s Chainperson and Prominent Marxist thinker Prof. MK Sharma is no more.

 He died in Delhi on Tuesday morning.  Himachal Gyan Vigyan Samiti and State Resource Centre, Shimla have expressed deep condolence on the death of Prof. Sharma. 

Dr. Kuldeep Singh Tanwar, founder state president of the  Himachal Gyan Vigyan Samiti and currently chairperson of the resource centre, said that MK Sharma was not only a progressive thinker but also a good motivator. 

He connected thousands of youth with progressive ideology in the university. Dr. Tanwar said that Prof. MK Sharma was his mentor and Prof. It was under Sharma’s guidance that he obtained his MBA and doctorate from Himachal Pradesh University.

 Dr. Tanwar said that while serving in the Forest Department, leading the trade union and later working in the Jan Vigyan Andolan, Prof. He continued to get the guidance of Sharma. Dr. Tanwar told Prof. Sharma’s demise is a personal loss for him.

  On the other hand, State Secretary of Himachal Gyan Vigyan Samiti Jiyanand Sharma said that Prof. The demise of MK Sharma has given a deep blow to the mass science movement and the progressive movement. He said that in 2008-09 Prof. Sharma was the State President of Himachal Gyan Vigyan Samiti.

  Dr. Om Prakash Bhureta, Director of the State Resource Center, Prof. Expressing grief over Sharma’s demise, he said that under his guidance, the State Resource Center performed better in the country under his guidance and despite being a small state, the State Resource Center Shimla topped the country.

  Mr. Virendra Kapoor, President of Himachal Gyan Vigyan Samiti, Sajyawan Pundir, former secretary of the Samiti were among those who expressed condolences.
