Pratibha Singh has said that she is satisfied with the relief and rehabilitation works in the Mandi district

State Congress President and MP Pratibha Singh said that the Public Works Department has given a total of Rs. 12.5 crores to NHAI and National Highway Authority for the improvement of Mandi to Bajaura via Command Kataula alternative road and Chail Chowk Gohar Pandoh road. Sent for approval. He said that he is hopeful that soon the DPR of these two roads will be approved.

Pratibha Singh has said that apart from this, the National Highway Authority has released Rs 2,30 crore to the Public Works Board Gohar and Padhar for the improvement of the damaged road from Pandoh to Kainchi Mod, the alternative route connecting Kullu. He has said that he had taken up the issue of improvement of four-lane roads affected by heavy rains and these alternative routes with the National Highway Authority.

Pratibha Singh has expressed her satisfaction to all the officers and employees of Mandi district and expressed satisfaction over the prompt action taken in the relief and reconstruction works for the people affected by the disaster. She has said that the speed with which the district administration as well as the Public Works Department, Water The Power Department, Revenue Department, electricity and Forest Department have carried out their respective restoration works in the landslide-affected areas, is highly commendable.

After a five-day tour of Mandi district, Pratibha Singh has said that the government and administration are doing relief and rehabilitation work with full coordination. He said that the way Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and all the ministers of the state government are helping the people affected by the loss in the state is highly commendable.

Describing the setting up of a relief fund of Rs 4500 crore by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu to help the people affected by the disaster as a historic step, Pratibha Singh said that due to the negative attitude of the Central Government, the State Government has opened its entire treasury.

Pratibha Singh has said that she is satisfied with the relief and rehabilitation works in the Mandi district. He said that the National Highway Authority has also been asked to expedite the reconstruction work of Pandoh and Kullu four-lane road from Sundernagar.
