Pratibha advocated the restoration of 9 acres of vacant government land in tribal border areas

New Pradesh Congress President and MP Pratibha Singh has advocated the restoration of 9 acres of vacant government land in the tribal border areas of the state to the permanent residents there. She has said that with this decision, on the one hand, this vacant land in the tribal areas will be fully utilized and on the other hand, there will be no fear of any encroachment from other countries.

Pratibha Singh said here today that there are many areas bordering the tribal areas of Kinnaur, Lahulspiti Bharmour, and Pangi of Chamba district where thousands of bighas of land are lying vacant. She said that in some places, people here have been doing farming on a temporary basis for the last several years. She said that if 9 ponds are provided, then along with farming, horticulture will also get a boost in those areas. Natural herbs can also be exploited. She said that during his recent visit to the tribal areas, the people there had placed before him the demand for the restoration of 9 toads, and in this regard, she had also written a letter to Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu.

Pratibha Singh strongly supported the statement of Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi in which he said that he has sought permission from the Governor to provide 9 Toods of land to the people in the border tribal areas and requested Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla to provide the approval soon. It has been requested, so that the long-standing demands of the people of the tribal areas can be fulfilled and the local people can also get strength in the security of the border areas.
