Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana is a proof of Atal Ji’s vision

On the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna, respected Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, State President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Dr. Rajiv Bindal paid homage to him by offering floral tribute at his statue located at Ridge Maidan, Shimla.

On this occasion, Dr. Bindal said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji had a deep and intimate relationship with Himachal Pradesh. He always understood the needs of the mountainous state and formulated policies, the benefits of which the state continues to reap today.

Dr. Bindal said that the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) is a historic example of Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s visionary thinking. This scheme provided road connectivity to remote areas of Himachal Pradesh, connected villages to the mainstream of development, and brought significant positive changes to the lives of ordinary people.

He said that Atal ji’s entire life was dedicated to national service, good governance and public welfare and his thoughts are still guiding for the Bharatiya Janata Party.
