PM Vishwakarma Yojana workshop will be organized in Chintpurni on 21st December: Mahendra Dharmani

“PM Vishwakarma” scheme will give a new boost to the skills of traditional and rural artisans and the artisans will get opportunities to showcase their skills and talents on the world stage. State spokesperson and state coordinator of Vishwakarma scheme Mahendra Dharmani said this while talking to the media. He informed that a one-day workshop of “PM Vishwakarma” scheme will be organized in Chintpurni on 21st December. In which 300 participants from 12 administrative districts and 68 assembly constituencies of the state will participate. State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal, Organization Minister Siddharthan and State Minister Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister Dhan Singh Rawat will be specially present in this program.

Giving information about this scheme, he said that with the launch of “PM Vishwakarma” scheme by the Narendra Modi government of the country, the skills of traditional and rural artisans will get a new direction and momentum. Lakhs of artisans of the country will be benefited and skilled from this scheme launched by the Central Government. He said that the traditional arts and artisans of India will get opportunities to showcase their skills and talents on the world stage.

Bharatiya Janata Party state spokesperson Mahendra Dharmani said that with this scheme, Modi government will prove to be helpful in increasing the strength and prosperity of Vishwakarma friends. This scheme will prove to be helpful and helpful in preserving and promoting thousands of years of traditional technology and skills of our country. Mahendra Dharmani said that the Central Government has started a scheme to provide benefits to Vishwakarma (artisans) doing 18 different types of work by including them in this scheme. Under this scheme, carpenters, blacksmiths, goldsmiths, potters, sculptors, cobblers, washermen, masons, barbers, garland makers, cloth workers and others, who live in rural areas and preserve the tradition of their art, will be eligible. The decision to include is historic.

Mahendra Dharmani said that a budget provision of Rs 13 thousand crore has been made by the Central Government for this scheme, which is welcome. Under this scheme, Modi government will give a daily allowance of Rs 500 to the people doing manual, machine and traditional work. Artisans will also be provided with modern tools, for which Rs 15,000 will be given for the tool kit. He said that under this scheme, loans up to Rs 3 lakh will be made available to the artisans at low interest rates without any guarantee, the goods which will be made by Vishwakarma (artisans). The government will provide all kinds of support from its branding and packaging to marketing.

Mahendra Dharmani said that “PM Vishwakarma” scheme will strengthen “Vocal for Local” by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will strengthen the country’s economy by preserving India’s traditions and skills.
