Nadda thanked PM Modi for announcing 1500 crore package for disaster affected areas
BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda said that Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji today visited the flood and heavy rainfall affected areas in Devbhoomi Himachal Pradesh and expressed condolences by meeting the disaster affected families.
Along with providing financial assistance of 1500 crores for the disaster affected areas in Devbhoomi, it was announced to provide ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh for the families of those who died in the natural disaster and Rs 50,000 for the injured. The second installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and SDRF will be paid in advance, important steps like reconstruction and repair of houses damaged in the disaster under PM Awas Yojana, assistance to schools under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, renovation of national highways and construction of water harvesting structures for collection and storage of rainwater will provide strength to the people of Devbhoomi. The Modi government is standing shoulder to shoulder with the citizens of Himachal Pradesh in this difficult hour of crisis. On behalf of the people of Devbhoomi, I express my gratitude to the Prime Minister for all possible help in this adverse situation.
