People of Dharech and Satog Panchayat are troubled due to the vacant post of Patwari

Hundreds of people from Dharech and Satog Panchayats are facing a lot of trouble in getting their revenue papers due to the post of Patwari being vacant in Dharech Gram Panchayat of Kasupanti constituency for the past one year. Harichand Sharma, a resident of Garpaiya of Satog Panchayat, said that he has been visiting Dharech Patwar office continuously for the past 11 days but finds it locked every time. Similarly, Satog Panchayat’s Deputy Pradhan Dinesh Sharma, Mata Ram, Rajesh, Jagi Ram, Kamal Kumar, Gyan Singh, Naresh and many others said that they have been visiting Dharech Patwar office continuously for the past few days to get their land papers and have to return home disappointed in the evening.
Let us tell you that two Panchayats Dharech and Satog come under Patwar Circle Dharech and the people of both these Panchayats are facing a lot of problems in getting land and other revenue related certificates. Presently the charge of Dharech Patwar Circle has been handed over to the Patwari of Nahol who has been instructed by the departmental officials to sit in Patwar Circle Dharech two days a week. Due to heavy workload in Patwar Circle Nahol, the concerned Patwari is not able to spare time. The people of Dharech and Satog Panchayat have demanded from the government to fill the vacant post of Patwari in Dharech.
When Naib Tehsildar Anshul Kashyap was contacted, he stated that due to a vacancy in the Dharech Patwar Circle, Patwari Nahol has been given charge. He added that Patwari Nahol will be ordered to sit in Dharech for two days to ensure that people do not face any inconvenience.
