People danced to the songs of Pravesh Nihalta and Roshni Sharma at the festival

On the last day of the Shimla Flying Festival and Hospitality Expo 2025 in Junga, the artists of Shivranjani Cultural Group Balg kept the festival goers engaged for about three hours. This group was sponsored by the Language and Culture Department of Himachal Pradesh. The closing ceremony was scheduled for 3 pm, but the chief guest arrived on stage about three hours late. During this time, the artists of the group did not let the festival go boring and kept them engaged by singing one better than the other Pahari plays and Hindi Punjabi songs till the arrival of the chief guest.
Renowned artist of the state and in-charge of the group Pravesh Nihalta sang the traditional song Dhar Mate Lagoon Kupdi Mama Gindu Oro Khelo Ho and Pahadi Nightingale Roshni Sharma made the audience dance by singing Pahadi plays named Royo Ratadi Kati Nehri Sangiya Bedan Na Jani Meri. Similarly, emerging young artist Hardik Nihalta enthralled the audience by singing Punjabi song Sun Charkhe Di Meethi Meethi Kook. Prem Prakash Nihalta and Roshni Sharma presented a plethora of Pahadi plays and received accolades. Slogans of ‘Vanas More’ kept on being raised from the pandal. Group in-charge Pravesh Nihalta gave the message to the youth to stay away from drugs through a song.
