Parts of Himachal jolt by 2.90 magnitude earthquake

Snowbound Dhar Khasuni area of Rohru Subdivision of Shimla district in Himachal Pradesh jolted by 2.90 magnitude earthquake on Wednesday about 84 km from here, spokesperson of Indian Metalogical Department confirmed.
A light magnitude earthquake measured 2.90 on the Richter scale, jolted several parts of Shimla district at 1455 hrs on Wednesday.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located at Latitude of 31.35 North and longitude of 78.01 East and depth of ten km, in the Dhar Khasuni area in Rohru Subdivision of Shimla district.
The people slightly felt the tremors but no damage reported in the Earthquake.
