One burnt in fire mishap in Shimla town
A man charred to death in a major fire broke out at Vikasnagar residential house early today, the fire is brought under control, the district administration confirmed.
Deputy commissioner Shimla Aditya Negi said that a major fire broke out at residential house Block-26, Set No -10 , in SDA complex Vikasnagar outskirt of Shimla at 0405hrs.
Three fire tenders were rushed to spot and douse down the blages.
In this incident one
person lost his life, the deceased identified as Kishor Bajaj(60yrs) resident of Block No- C-26 Set No. 10 SDA Colony Vikasnagar.
The cause of incident is being ascertained. The fire also caused the estimated loss of tune to Rs five lakh to the property, he added.
This is 14 fire incident when special vigil is being sounded by the fire department to check the fire misshap however number of fire mishap come down following Diwali festival season in the state.
