Number huts of migratory workers gutted in devastation fire in Una

Several huts belonging to migratory workers were gutted in a devastating fire that broke out on Tuesday afternoon near Village Lal Singhi, along the Old Hoshiarpur Road, in the Una district in Himachal Pradesh, state disaster management authority confirmed.

 At the stroke of noon, flames erupted, engulfing the migrant 25 to 30 huts in a merciless inferno.

The firefighters of Sadar Una Police Station rushed to the scene and they battled the raging blaze, risking their safety to save lives and property.

Amidst the chaos, the toll of human loss weighed heavy on the community’s heart. The exact count of casualties remained uncertain amidst the chaos, as the priority shifted to containing the blaze and preventing further tragedy.

Initial reports indicated that as many as 25 to 30 huts had succumbed to the flames, their fragile structures devoured by the relentless firestorm.

 However, the full extent of the damage was yet to be determined, as authorities worked tirelessly to assess the losses and provide support to those affected.
