NSS Day celebrated as Swachhata in Dadgi School

National Service Scheme Day was celebrated in Government Senior Secondary School Dadgi. In the prayer meeting, children were administered the Swachhata Pledge regarding Swachhata Pakhwada. This pledge will be taken by the volunteers in the school every day till 2 September. On this occasion, a speech competition for children was organized in the school in which Kumari Sania, Kumari Vanita and Kumari Tarusha presented their views on cleanliness. To give the message of cleanliness to the general public, a rally was organized by the volunteers which was conducted by Archana.
Thereafter, Eco Club in-charge Khub Ram Verma and associate Tilak Ranaut watered 100 saplings that were planted last year in the school premises and the plants were given manure, cow dung and water. Students of all houses participated in this programme with great enthusiasm. In the end, a mid-day meal was organized for all the volunteers and other students in the school. Programme officer Dharm Prakash Verma and other lecturers, teachers and other staff members participated in this programme.
