NSG bomb disposal squad unit and NIA on a different page in the Shimla’s Himachal Rasoi food eatery blast

After hundred days after Himachal Pradesh State Security Agency and Central NSG bomb disposal squad unit and NIA are on different page on the theory of explosives material used in mysterious blast in food eatery Himachal Rasoi

According to official sources the state police handed over the files of this case to further probe the matter as inputs received from the National Security Gaurd antibomb disposal squad that high intensity explosives material have been used in the blast.

Former Adl SP Shimla and SP in National Investigation Agency posted at Jammu and a  SHO of NIA had conversation with the Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu and Adl DGP Satwant Atwal at police headquarter here recently.

NIA and NSG have informed the state police about the use of high intensity material three months ago and immediately after the its collection of sample but file of case was not handed over to CID however it was asked to probe this mystery. 

According to District police version on this matter on the report of Special Investigation Team and report of FSL Junga residual of LPG was established in the report and cause of mishap was attributed to massive LPG leakage.

The fresh investigation by the CID now likely to resolve the mystery as NSG are not satisfied on the theory of LPG blast maintaining that blast of such intensity could not be occurred due to LPG explosive

SIT and FSL experts also not denied of high intensity explosives but it was found leakage of LPG and its residual in the scientific forensic probe. The theory of use of highly explosives material was denied from the angle about Lack of denoator, RDX, creator and sprinter in the FSL report.

It is worthwhile to mention that on July 18 around 7 pm when Mall road remained completely occupied to its capacity blast left the town shocked with sesmic propotion blast in which two died and six suffered grievous injuries inwhich one died on the spot and other succumbed to injuries in the Hospital few days latter.

In a massive blast occurred in a food eatery jolted the entire Mall road and damaged five to six nearby shops, residences.  Deceased include  owner of new Plaza restaurants identified Avnish Sood.

The incident occurred in Himachali Rasoi food eatery, in the basement floor of the Madame showroom on Mall road. 

Due to blast a ration shop and two jewelery shops and a show room were damaged. The impact of the blast was so high that a hole was noted in a shop located on the Mall road above. 

Also furniture and goods kept in the  food eatery and nearby shops could be seen spread in front of the Shiv Mandir street road.

Interestingly after almost 100 days of this incident damaged building and others floor was renovated and restored by the owners of building and permission was granted partly by civic authority to restored the affected building.
