Notification issued for bye-election for Nalagarh, Dehra, and Hamirpur Constituency
In accordance with the guidelines of the Election Commission of India, notification for by-election in Nalagarh) Solan ), Dehra (Kangra), and Hamirpur Assembly Constituency today by the Returning Officers separately.
Accordingly, the nomination process for the by-elections has started today and till June 21, 2024, candidates can file their nomination in the Sub-Divisional Magistrate office of Nalagarh, Dehra, and DC office Hamirpur from 11.00 am to 03.00 pm.
Nominations would not be filled on public holidays. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 11.00 am and the date for withdrawal of nomination has been fixed as Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 03.00 pm.
The date of voting has been fixed by the Election Commission of India as July 10, 2024 and the time for voting has been fixed from 07.00 am to 06.00 pm.
No nomination was filed today on the first day of the nomination process.
Three seats have fallen vacant on June 2 after tendering of resignation by the Independent MLAs including Hoshiyar Singh from Dehra Ashish Sharma Hamirpur and K L Thakur Nalagarh.
