Normal life completely derailed in the Himachal

Normal life is completely derailed in the Himachal Pradesh after three days of continues heavy snowfall and inceasent rain as large number of roads and power lines were disrupted by inclement Weather however people took some respite from coldwave as it was mainly sunny today.

Met Office recorded sixty cm snow at Tourist resort Kufri , Shimla ,32.6 cm, Chopal 45.7 cm, Khirki and Chanshal 10 cm each, Chidgaon, Dodrakwar and Kharapather five cm each

3 inch inch l Kalpa (Kinnaur) 3.4 cm, Chitkul 13 cm, Rakchham ten cm and Nako five cm, Pooh and Sangla three cm.

In Kullu district Bhuntar 15 cm, Atal Tunnel ten cm, Manali, Gulaba and Jalorijot eight cm each. Rohtang Top
20cm, Palchan five cm and Solang three cm.

In Mandi, Shikari Mata
13 cm, Prashar Lake and Kamru Nag ten cm,Shatta Dhar seven cm and l Magru Gala five cm and in Chamba Dalhousie have 15 cm,

Tinder in Kullu had 30 mm rain Banjar 28.6 mm, Solan and Nahan 24 mm, Sundernagar (Mandi( and Poanta-Shaib (Sirmour)15 mm, Mandi nine mm and Dharmshala five mm.

After heavy snowfall many parts of Shimla, tourist resort Kufri Fagu Mashobra Theog and Narkanda, Chopal, Rohru and Jubbal Kotkhai are cut off from the rest of world.

As many as 758 roads including four National Highway NH(3, 5, 88) are snowbound, 2442 power distribution Transformer Regions and 171 water supply scheme were disrupted by Snowfall.

Keylong, headquarter of Lahaul Spiti Minimum temperature recorded minus 12.9 degree Celsius, Kalpa minus seven cdegrees Kufri, Dalhousie minus 4.2 degrees, Shimla minus 2.1 degrees, Manali minus 4.4 degrees,

Solan 0.7 degrees, Chamba 1.8 degrees, Mandi and Dharmshala 3.3 degrees each,Kangra 3.6 degrees Hamirpur 3.8 degrees, Nahan(Sirmour) 4.8 degrees, Una and Bilaspur four degrees each.

The Met Office forecast rain and snowfall in isolated places in the state during next 24 hrs.
