Nirmala got first place in poster making and Mehak in slogan writing

On Tuesday, various competitions were organized on International Women’s Day at Government College Chail-Koti. On this occasion, slogan writing and poster making competitions were organized. Nirmala got first place, Muskan got second place in the poster-making competition, and Mehak got first place and Nirmala got second place in slogan writing. Women from many self-help groups participated in the program in large numbers. Kanta Sharma, head of Srishti Gram Sangathan, Asha Sharma, secretary of Satyam Gram Sangatha, and Bank Sakhi Pratibha informed the students about the work and objectives of self-help groups and said that through self-help groups, women of rural background are becoming economically empowered. They urged the students that along with studies, girls can become economically self-reliant by learning other small skills like sewing, knitting, embroidery, beautician, computer, etc.
College Principal Dr. Deepshikha Bhardwaj said that women should support each other; they will never face any difficulty if they work together. She also promised to organize a fifteen-day skill-based training program for the college students very soon with the help of self-help groups.
Dr. Devendra Sharma gave detailed information about the contribution of women in society.
Coordinator of the Women’s Cell of the college, Prof. Bobija Sharma, successfully conducted the program by highlighting the importance of International Women’s Day. All the teachers and students were present in this program.
