Nine shops and four houses were gutted in a devastating fire at Banjar Kullu
A major fire broke out at Banjar market near the old Bus stand in the Kullu district early this morning and gutted nine shops and four residential houses. No loss of life has been reported. The fire broke out in nine shops adjacent to the old bus stand in the Banjar sub-division of Kullu.
Two cattle were also burnt alive in the arson. After the incident, the fire department was informed and then later after a lot of effort, two fire tenders doused down the infernos. Fortunately, no one was living in those structures.
The department has registered the case of fore arson against the unknown.
