Nikhil of Janedghat School became head boy and Savita Mahima became head girl
The election of Head Boy and Head Girl was completed in a democratic manner in Government Senior Secondary School, Janedghat. In which 12th class student Nikhil was elected as Head Boy and Savita Mahima as Head Girl. While Adil was elected as Vice Head Boy and Prajakta as Vice Head Girl.
Principal Dr. Sohan Ranta said that Pooja Kumari was entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the election. While Rajendra Kumar was given the responsibility of presiding officer and Babita, Vandana Chauhan and Umavati were given the responsibility of polling officer. Similarly, Sapna Kumari was given the responsibility of micro observer, Pankaj Kumar Tilta was given the responsibility of media in-charge, Jasvir Gill was given the responsibility of security guard and Yashwant Singh was given the responsibility of BLO.
Dr. Ranta said that there are a total of 122 voters in the school. Three candidates had filed nomination papers for the post of head boy, out of which Nikhil emerged victorious. While three students had filed nomination papers for the post of head girl, out of which Savita was declared the winner. Similarly, three candidates were in the fray for the post of vice head boy and girl, out of which Adil was chosen as the vice head boy and Prajakta as the vice head girl. He said that the purpose of conducting this election is to make children aware of the democratic system of elections so that in the elections to be held in the near future, children can make people aware of the importance of voting.
