NH 5 Old Indo-Tibet border roads blocked in Kinnaur district: District Administration

Old Hindustan Tibet National Highway on the Indo-Tibet border is blocked by a landslide and rolling down of boulders between Pooh and Korick in Kinnaur, district administration informed in a press release issued here today.

According to the Spokesperson of the district administration, Kinnaur heavy boulders snapped the road communication between Pooh and Korick this afternoon at noon on the Ambala -Korick NH-5 near Himachal Pradesh & Tibet border.

All vehicular traffic remained off till the restoration of the highway. NH-5 has also disrupted between Nathpa and Recong-Peo since last week. The movement of traffic is partly disrupted as the widening of roads is being done at Nathpa Point.
