New Research Committee of Himachal Pradesh University Constituted
Nek Ram Appointed Convener; Ashish Mishra, Nitika Lakhanpal, and Jatin June Made Co-Conveners
The Research Committee of Himachal Pradesh University has been constituted. The occasion was graced by the presence of Prof. Sanjay Sharma (Dean of Education and Director of Physical Education) as the distinguished guest and Sarvesh Dixit (Research Prant Convener) as the Election Officer.
Nek Ram presented the annual Secretary’s Report before everyone. The former Co-convener, Sachin Lagwal, dissolved the previous Research Committee.
The distinguished guest, Shri Sanjay Sharma, shared detailed insights about the background of research. Election Officer Sarvesh Dixit officially announced the new Research Committee.
In the newly formed committee, Shri Nek Ram has been appointed as the Convener for Himachal Pradesh University Research, while Shri Ashish Mishra, Smt. Nitika Lakhanpal, and Shri Jatin June have been entrusted with the responsibility of Co-conveners. This committee will play an active role in promoting research, academic activities, and student welfare within the university. The research body organizes various seminars, workshops, and conferences for research scholars from time to time.
The following responsibilities have been assigned:
· Arts Faculty Phase-I: Ritesh Bhagata (Chief) and Jatin Sharma (Deputy Chief)
· Arts Faculty Phase-II: Manisha Thakur (Chief) and Monica Thakur (Deputy Chief)
· Multifaculty: Naren Thakur (Chief) and Rohit Chauhan & Ruchi Sipahiya (Deputy Chiefs)
· Science Faculty Phase-I: (Chief’s name to be confirmed)
· Science Faculty Phase-II: Devendra Thakur (Chief) and Akhil & Rahul Chandel (Deputy Chiefs)
· Management Faculty: Ruchika Negi (Chief) and Vijay Singh, Lalit Sharma, & Satish Kumar (Deputy Chiefs)
· IIHS: Sushil Kumar (Chief) and Mahendra Thakur (Deputy Chief)
· Treasurer: Abhishek Kashyap
· Study Circle: Sanjeev Dhiman (Chief) and Naren Thakur & Manisha Thakur (Deputy Chiefs)
· Academic Activities: Vaibhav Bharatiya (Chief) and Tanuj Sharma & Jahnvi Thakur (Deputy Chiefs)
