Addressing the ‘Namo Yuva Run’ program organized by the Yuva Morcha under the ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ held on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, Jairam Thakur said that the ‘Namo Yuva Run’ is the embodiment of the Prime Minister’s spirit of “Yuva Fit Toh Desh Hit” (If the Youth is Fit, the Country will be a Hit). Namo Yuva Run is not just a race, but an initiative to realize the enthusiasm, patriotism, and dream of a healthy India of the youth. Narendra Modi’s goal is for the citizens of the country to be healthy, which is why he started the Fit India Movement. Today, through the Namo Yuva Run, we are all witnessing an initiative that is not just a run, but a symbol of India’s youth power. The Prime Minister’s clear message is that “The Youth are the future of India.” Only when the youth are healthy, energetic, and disciplined, will India become strong and prosperous. Namo Yuva Run is a wonderful medium to bring this idea to the ground.
Jairam Thakur said that this run inspires the youth towards fitness and healthy living. This initiative will further accelerate campaigns like the Fit India Movement and Khelega India, Jeetega India. This run sends a message to today’s generation, which is engrossed in the world of mobile phones and social media, to stay away from addiction and move towards sports. Namo Yuva Run not only promotes a message of health but also encourages a spirit of patriotism and unity. When thousands of youth run together, this sight shows that we are all stepping together towards building a new, strong, and self-reliant India. Modi ji always says—”If the youth stays fit, India will be a hit.” He appealed to everyone, “Let us all pledge that not just today, but every day, we will embrace fitness, discipline, and positive energy in our lives. Because only when the youth awakens, will India move forward.” He congratulated the entire team, including Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha President Sunny Shukla, for making this program a success.
During the program, singer Mohit Chauhan mesmerized the youth with his performance of ‘Shiv Kailasho Ke Vaasi, Dhauli Dhaaro Ke Raja’. Mohit Chauhan shared some excerpts from his biography with the youth who came to the Namo Run and also shared his experiences of being connected with Sirmaur, Shimla, Solan, and the entire Himachal Pradesh. On this occasion, Mohit Chauhan also launched a major campaign against drugs, stating that defeating drug addiction should be a resolve for the youth of the country, which we must fulfill in the times to come.
