Names of defeated leaders on system change plaques

BJP state media in-charge Karan Nanda said that the state government is making fun of democracy by giving preference to the defeated and rejected people. He said that the Congress government is putting the names of those people who have been rejected by the public in the foundation stone laying and inauguration plaques. Which is not logical at all. He said that people who have been rejected by the public twice and have been forced to settle down, are being forced to carry the public. Be it any public programme, be it the work of providing government relief at the time of disaster or any other programme, government officials are seen hosting these rejected people in order to become favorites of the leaders, which is against the public opinion. Bharatiya Janata Party condemns this in the strongest terms. He said that in the government of change, this system of giving a place to the defeated and rejected leaders like a person elected by the people is a big change in democracy.

He said that Congress State President and MP Pratibha Singh is doing the work of installing plaques of defeated leaders wherever she goes, this work started with the plaque of Kaul Singh Thakur in Drug Assembly and now Himachal Pradesh Education Department. Sohan Lal Thakur’s name was placed on the inauguration plaque of Government Primary School Bhauna, Sundernagar. This is murder of democracy in its original form.

This practice has also started taking place in village tournaments, sports programs and small programs and fairs.

He said that Congress leaders are afraid of the winning MLAs and are also afraid of giving their names, but let us tell them one thing that writing the names of defeated leaders on the plaques is not a good practice, it is against democracy. It would be desirable if the name of the winning Panch, BDC, Councilor or MLA is there on the plaque. Perhaps Congress will have to teach the lesson of democracy.
