Mysterious death of late Vimal Negi has raised many questions : BJP

Dr. Rajiv Bindal, State President BJP said that after 22 years of impeccable service as Chief Engineer HPPCL, Vimal Negi’s body being found in mysterious circumstances in Bilaspur Govind Sagar puts a big question mark on the working style of the government. The kind of atmosphere that was created in Kinnaur, Shimla and the entire state after Vimal Negi’s disappearance is indicative of the fact that Vimal Negi was an honest, hardworking and dedicated officer towards his work.

Dr. Bindal said that the question arises that HPPCL is constantly under the scanner and many kinds of questions have been raised on the top officials of the same HPPCL. In such a situation, the death of the Chief Engineer of the same department in mysterious circumstances puts the government and HPPCL and the top officials in the dock. After meeting Vimal Negi’s wife, mother, daughter, his brothers and relatives in Katgaon of Kinnaur, it became even more clear that this death did not happen in ordinary circumstances but in very sensational circumstances.

Dr. Bindal said that the family of late Negi, all the employees of HPPCL and the people of the state are demanding a fair investigation. The family members say that if the investigation is done by the CBI then the investigation will reach a conclusion, otherwise it will be hushed up.

Dr. Bindal said that this tragic incident should be investigated as per the wishes of the family of late Vimal Negi.
