Mortal remains of martyr cremated with full honor in a Hamirpur village

Mortal remains of Army Jawan, Sepoy Kamal Dev Vaidya who was killed in a mine attack were consigned to flames with full state honors at a crematorium near his native village of Ghumarwin today morning.
Bobby Vaidya, the cousin brother of the deceased lit the pyre in the presence of thousands of people who were raising slogans of Shaheed Kamal Dev Amar Rahe and Pakistan ho barbad.
Sepoy Kamal Dev Vaidya was twenty-seven years old and known as a singer in the locals as well as his own Army battalion for singing Pahari songs. His songs were also found on the U-tube and people used to relish with them.
He was to be married in the month of October this year in a village of Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh. He was recruited in the Indian Army five years ago and was very popular among local people.
Earlier, the body of the martyr was brought in an army vehicle to the village where it was put for the darshans of the local people.
As the body reached home, parents, sisters, and brothers of the martyr wept bitterly and blasted the Pakistan for the death of Kamal Dev. Heartfelt scenes were witnessed at the house of the martyr when local women and others were consoling the bereaved family.
The administration was led by Deputy Commissioner, Debasweta Banik and SP, Hamirpur, Dr. Gokulchandran Karthikeyan to pay their respect to the martyr’s body. They also consoled the bereaved family and assured them that all out facilities would be made available to them from the government side.
Local MLA, Kamlesh Kumari, and leaders and workers of the BJP and Congress party both were present in the house of the martyr and paid their respects to the martyr’s body.
